A bonus for this year is the new Harvest and Limited Tungsten editions. The Limited Tungsten includes the following - premium leather interior with faux-suede headliner, a sport hood, and a chrome grille with the Ram name on it.

An optional 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen gives you Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Some of the standard features include a backup camera and a remote exterior switch in the cargo box that will turn on the LED bed lights.

Fuel Efficient

The Ram is one of the most fuel-efficient pickups out there. The 5.7-liter V8 engine has a feature that will deactivate cylinders so that you can get better gas mileage if you have a light load. The AWD mileage for this option is 13 miles per gallon in the city and 19 miles per gallon on the highway.

The 3.6-liter V6 will give you one of the best gas mileages around - 17 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway.

The 2018 Ram 1500 comes with a 26-gallon fuel tank standard and goes about 650 miles between refills.

Luxury Options

The features on the inside of the 2018 Ram 1500 are lavish. The Limited Tungsten Edition gives you leather on the seats and some of the other surfaces, a faux-suede headliner, and wood accents. The Rebel trim is also now available with a leather interior. The first-row bucket seats are amazingly comfortable and offer tons of support. The rotary shifter gives you more storage space and has a metal casing that makes it seem more upscale.

The air suspension on the Ram makes it easier to get in and out because it allows you to lower the truck by two inches. The doors open up to 90 degrees so that it is easy for you to get in the vehicle even though the step up is still high.

The three bed sizes and inside storage space are the same as last year's models but there is now a switch on the outside that allows you to turn on the LED bed lights. The rear seats in the quad and crew cabs will fold down to allow you to have level space while giving you more room underneath for storage.

Modern but Traditional

The last time the outside of the Ram 1500. was redesigned was in 2009 and it has held up extremely well. Perhaps the best model that has been added to the lineup is the Limited Tungsten Edition, which has a sport hood, a chrome grille with the Ram logo on it, satin-painted wheels, blacked-out headlights, and body-color bumpers, mirrors, door handles, and running boards.

The Harvest Edition is a new addition specifically for the farmers out there and comes in traditional farm equipment colors like Case IH Red and New Holland Blue. This edition has a ton of chrome, a mesh-like grille, comes with all-terrain tires, and rides an inch higher than normal.

The infotainment system for the 2018 Ram 1500 is Uconnect that has an 8.4-inch touchscreen - the largest available when it comes to full-size trucks and comes standard with anything from the Lone Star trim and up. It has improved resolution and support for pinch-and-zoom. It also has some great in-demand features like HD radio, 4G LTE mobile hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto support. Navigation comes on a color 7-inch screen situated in the gauge cluster. Bluetooth is available, you can use a hands-free connection, and the call will continue even after the truck is shut off. The standard features include a USB port, auxiliary port, 12-volt ports, and an SD card slot that is in the top of center console bin. An optional item is a 115-volt outlet on the center stack.
